引导以脑血管病专科为择业方向的美国医学教育探索的启示

Insights into American Medical Education in Guiding Selecting Vascular Neurology as a Future Career

摘要: 脑血管病专科医师短缺是全球多个国家面临的问题。医学生对神经科畏惧以及脑血管病专科培训建设不足是导致脑血管病专科医师短缺的重要原因。为了满足社会及脑血管病患者对医师的需求,鼓励更多医师选择从事脑血管病专业,美国医学教育从长程课程优化、师资培养以及脑血管病亚专科建设等方面进行了探索。本文对此进行总结和探讨,为我国脑血管病相关医学教育发展提供经验。

Abstract: Currently, there is a shortage of vascular neurologists in many countries, which are mainly due to phobia about neurology for medical students and deficiency of training in vascular neurology. To fulfill the needs of society and stroke patients, and encourage more physicians to select vascular neurology, many efforts had been made in the United States, such as longitudinal curriculum optimization, training in vascular neurology and subspeciality construction of cerebrovascular disease. The experiences from the United States will provide valuable reference for the development of medical education in neurology in China.
