Abstract: Objective To investigate the relationship between acute cerebral infarction(ACI) and intracerebral hemorrhage(ICH) with serum lipid, uric acid(UA) and blood coagulation indexes. Methods Fasting serum lipid, UA and blood coagulation indexes were measured among 62 cases with ACI, 50 cases with ICH and 50 cases non-cerebral vascular diseases (NCVD) as control subjects in the corresponding period. The information was compared and analyzed in different groups. Results The levels of total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG) were significantly higher and the level of apolipoprotein A1(ApoA1) was significantly lower in cases with ACI than those in control(P <0.01); There was no significant difference in the levels of high density lipoprotein (HDL), low density lipoprotein (LDL), apolipoprotein B(ApoB) between the patients with ACI and control group(P >0.05). The level of UA, fibrinogen(Fib) in patients with ACI was significantly higher than that in control group and ICH group(P <0.01). There was no significant difference in the levels of serum lipids, UA and Fib between the patients with ICH and control group(P >0.05). Conclusion Lipid disorder, high levels of serum UA and Fib are closely related to ACI. There is no relationship between ICH and the levels of serum lipids, UA and Fib.
