S100B与缺血性卒中关系的研究进展

摘要: 缺血性卒中仍是当今社会威胁健康的主要疾病,它是我国引起死亡以及残疾的重要原因。S100B是与神经系统紧密相关的蛋白,它在缺血性卒中过程中可以发挥神经毒作用,诱导神经元以及星形胶质细胞凋亡。临床试验发现,S100B的水平与缺血性卒中患者病灶面积大小和预后有关。由于S100B在中枢神经系统的生物学特性,提示它可能在将来作为一项诊断卒中的生物标记物。

Abstract: Stroke remains a significant public health burden and the leading cause of death and disability of our country. S100B is a protein relevant with the nervous system; it can induce the cell apoptosis of neuron and astrocytes during stroke. In clinical trials, S100B is related to the volume of infarcted tissue and functional outcome of stroke. The biological characteristics of S100B suggest that it can be used as a biomarker of stroke.
