Abstract: Over time, there is a controversy over the control of blood pressure at a high levelor low level in acute stroke patients. This article begins with the changes in cerebral blood flowand blood pressure in acute stroke, takes in the newly-published guidelines of hypertensionand stroke and combines with recent evidence-based medicine to make a review over earlyantihypertensive treatment in acute stroke.
