Abstract: Objective To investigate the effects of stage-based and responsibility-focused nursingintervention on motor functional restoration in stroke patients.Methods Total of 48 stroke patients were randomly divided into two groups: nursinginterventional group and control group. Two groups were given general nursing. Patients innursing interventional group were given feasible interventional measure else.Motor function(Fugl-Meyer motor performance score) and activities of daily living(Barthel's index) wereassessed at baseline and at 4 weeks and 6 months after treatment respectively.Results The score in motor function was much higher in nursing interventional group than that incontrol group(P =0.03).Conclusion Stage-based and responsibility-focused nursing intervention can improve thefunctional restoration in stroke patients.
